Installation Procedure

  1. Install Cell Battery Module (1)
    2. Fig 2: Battery Hold Down Retainer

  2. Install Battery Hold Down Retainer (1) (Qty: 2)
    3. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution

  3. Install Battery Hold Down Bolt (2) (Qty: 4) and tighten to 9 N.m (80 lb in)

  4. Install High Voltage Battery Interface Control Module (1)
    5. Fig 4: Ribbon Connector

  5. Connect the ribbon connector (1)

  6. Connect Electrical Connector (1) (Qty: 2)
  7. Connect Battery Vent Tube (2)
  8. Engage Retainer Clip (3)

  9. Install High Voltage Bus Bar (2) (Qty: 2)
  10. Install High Voltage Bus Bar Fastener (1) (Qty: 4) and tighten to 9 N.m (80 lb in)
  11. Perform Hybrid/EV battery cell balancing, refer to Hybrid/EV Battery Cell Balancing
