Installation Procedure

  1. Install Cell Battery Module (1)
    2. Fig 2: Battery Hold Down Retainer

  2. Install Battery Hold Down Retainer (1)
    3. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution

  3. Install Battery Hold Down Bolt (2) (Qty: 2) and tighten to 9 N.m (80 lb in)

  4. Install High Voltage Battery Interface Control Module (1)
    5. Fig 4: Ribbon Connector

  5. Connect the ribbon connector (1)

  6. Connect Electrical Connector (2)
  7. Connect Battery Vent Tube (1)

  8. Install High Voltage Bus Bar (2)
  9. Install High Voltage Bus Bar Fastener (1) (Qty: 2) and tighten to 9 N.m (80 lb in)

  10. Install Auxiliary Battery Negative Cable (4) - Auxiliary Battery Cable Replacement 
  11. Perform Hybrid/EV battery cell balancing, refer to Hybrid/EV Battery Cell Balancing
