Installation Procedure

  1. Install a NEW gasket. (4)

  2. Install the water pump. (3)
  3. Water Pump Bolt (1, 2)» Install and tighten [4x] 25 N.m (18 lb ft)
    CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .
    NOTE: Take note that there are different bolt lengths.
  4. Clip in the 2 wiring harness clips (1).

  5. {If equipped} Connect the electrical connector. (2)
  6. Thermostat Bypass Pipe Replacement » Install
  7. Turbocharger Oil Feed Pipe Replacement » Install
  8. Charge Air Cooler Inlet Air Hose @ Turbocharger» Install - Charge Air Cooler Inlet Air Hose Replacement
  9. Radiator Outlet Hose @ Engine Coolant Thermostat» Install - Radiator Outlet Hose Replacement 
  10. Rear Intake Air Duct Replacement » Install
  11. Air Cleaner Outlet Duct Replacement » Install
  12. Drive Belt Replacement » Install
  13. Fill the cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling
