Installation Procedure

In case of reuse of the exhaust parts, check the exhaust pipes at the separating sets for the following conditions:
- Roundness of the exhaust pipe, any deformation in the range of the double-clamp must be eliminated.
- Burrs inside and outside the exhaust pipe at the cutting edge, use a file to eliminate.
- Rust at the exhaust pipe outside, use a sandpaper to eliminate.
Install the exhaust pipe clamp (3) to the exhaust pipe.

Install 3 NEW exhaust muffler insulators (4, 6)
Install a NEW gasket. (2)
Install and support the exhaust muffler (5).
Exhaust Hanger Insulator (4) @ Vehicle» Install
Loosely tighten the exhaust pipe clamp (3).
Align the exhaust system and the exhaust pipe clamp (2).

NOTE: Ensure that there is enough space between the fuel tank heat shield (1) and the exhaust pipe clamp (2).
Exhaust Muffler Insulator Nut (2)» Install and tighten [2x] 22 N.m (16 lb ft)

CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution
Install the 3 exhaust muffler nuts (1) and tighten to 22 N.m (16 lb ft).
Exhaust Pipe Clamp (2)» Tighten 31 N.m (23 lb ft)

Unsupport the exhaust system.
Lower the vehicle.
