Front Side Door Window Replacement

WARNING: Disconnect the power window switch when working inside the door. When operated, the Express Up/Down Feature allows the door window to move very quickly, without stopping, which could cause personal injury. CAUTION: Refer to Paint Damage Caution . Preliminary Procedures Place the door window in a service position. Remove the front side door inner sealing strip. Refer to Front Side Door Window Inner Sealing Strip Replacement .
1	Front Side Door Window Guide Retainer Clip (Qty: 2) Procedure Apply masking tape to the outer applique and frame. Remove the front door water deflector. Position the window approximately half way down in the door until the opening come into view for the front retaining clip. Using a flat bladed trim tool to release the rear retaining clip. Push inward on the window guide retaining clips located on the left and right sides. Pull the window out of the retainer clips. Tilt the window downward in the front, pull up on the back of the window and pull it out from the frame.
2	Front Side Door Window Procedure Refer to window regulator motor programming and set-up if necessary. Inspect the window for proper operation before installing the door trim.

Procedure

Remove the front door water deflector.
Position the window approximately half way down in the door until the opening come into view for the front retaining clip.
Using a flat bladed trim tool to release the rear retaining clip.
Push inward on the window guide retaining clips located on the left and right sides. Pull the window out of the retainer clips.
Tilt the window downward in the front, pull up on the back of the window and pull it out from the frame.

Refer to window regulator motor programming and set-up if necessary.
Inspect the window for proper operation before installing the door trim.
