Installation Procedure

Remove the retainer (3) and slide the battery negative cable back to the original position.

Tighten the battery negative cable to rear floor panel nut (2) and tighten to 22 N.m (16 lb ft).
CAUTION: Fastener Caution
Close the rear compartment floor panel trim.
Close the rear compartment lid.
Ignition» On / Vehicle» In Service Mode & Engine » Off
Program the volatile memory. Refer to Volatile Memory Programming
Program all of the customer's radio station presets and set the radio clock to the current time.
If diagnosing a stop/start complaint, conduct the battery sensor module learn procedure Battery Sensor Module Learn to verify repair.
NOTE: Inform customer that the Stop/Start feature will not be available until the vehicle is allowed to sit for at least 3 hours undisturbed.
