Front Side Door Window Replacement

Preliminary Procedures

1. Position the window until both clips can be accessed through the opening in both window guide rails.
2. Front Side Door Water Deflector Replacement
3. Front Side Door Window Belt Reveal Molding Replacement 

Procedure

1. Loosen the window regulator sash retainer.
2. Connect the door trim panel wire connector.
3. Start the vehicle to ensure maximum power to the window motor. This is required in order to fully seat the window for adjustment.
4. Using the power window switch, raise the window to the half way up position.
5. Clip in the FIRST front side door window regulator sash retainer.
6. Raise the window far enough up, clip in the second front side door window regulator sash retainer.
7. Inspect for proper window operation and a tight seal.
8. Shut off the vehicle.
