Installation Procedure

  1. Position the steering column control module bracket on the steering column. (3)

  2. Steering Column Bracket Bolt (2)» Loosely install
  3. Steering Column Control Module Bracket Bolt (1)» Loosely install [2x]
  4. Steering Column Bracket Bolt (2)» Tighten 25 N.m (18 lb ft)
    CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .
  5. Steering Column Control Module Bracket Bolt (1)» Tighten [2x] 7 N.m (62 lb in)
  6. Connect the electrical connectors to the steering column control module and bracket.
  7. Instrument Panel Knee Bolster Replacement » Install
  8. Instrument Panel Insulator Panel Replacement - Left Side » Install
  9. Connect the battery negative cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection
