Circuit/System Verification

  1. Vehicle in Service Mode.
  2. Verify which module set this DTC using the scan tool vehicle wide DTC check.
    • If DTC set in the Hybrid/EV Powertrain Control Module 2 only 

      Refer to P06E4 in Data Communications

    • If DTC set in the ECM only 

      Replace the K114B Hybrid/EV Powertrain Control Module 2 then perform Repair Verification .

    • If the DTC sets in both modules 

      Diagnose the K114B Hybrid/EV Powertrain Control Module 2 first

  3. Operate the vehicle within the Conditions for Running the DTC. You may also operate the vehicle within the conditions that you observed from the Freeze Frame/Failure Records data.
