Removal Procedure

  1. Disconnect the negative battery. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (Dual Battery) .
  2. Remove the drive belt. Refer to Drive Belt Replacement .

  3. Disconnect the engine harness connector (4) and remove the generator B + protective boot (1).
  4. Remove the starter solenoid cable nut (2) and remove the starter solenoid cable (3) from the generator stud.

  5. Remove the generator bolts (1) and the generator (2) from the generator bracket.
