Preliminary Procedures Remove the left side floor air outlet duct. Refer to Floor Air Outlet Duct Replacement - Left Side (Left Hand Drive) . Disconnect the air inlet control cable from the heater and air conditioning (A/C) control. Refer to Heater and Air Conditioning Control Replacement (Left Hand Drive) , Heater and Air Conditioning Control Replacement (Right Hand Drive) .
1	Air Inlet Control Cable Procedure Disconnect the cable eyelet from the air inlet valve link. Disconnect the air inlet control cable from the air inlet control cable retainer.

Procedure

Disconnect the cable eyelet from the air inlet valve link.
Disconnect the air inlet control cable from the air inlet control cable retainer.
