Circuit/System Description

This diagnostic runs with the drive motor battery charger cable disconnected to verify the vehicle side circuit integrity. The hybrid/EV powertrain control module 2 uses a 5 V regulated signal through a 2700 Ω resistor to a low reference circuit in the battery charger to detect if the drive motor battery charger cable is attached.
