Installation Procedure

  1. Position the front lower control rear link (3) in the drivetrain and front suspension frame (2).
  2. Install the front lower control rear link bolt (1) and tighten it until the fastener is snug and the front lower control rear link does not shift, but do not tighten it completely.

  3. Connect the front lower control rear link (1) to the steering knuckle (3).
    4. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  4. Install the front lower control rear link nut (2) and tighten to 50 N.m (37 lb ft) + 120 degrees.
  5. Install the front tire and wheel assembly. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation .
  6. Lower the vehicle until it is resting fully on the ground.
  7. Bounce the vehicle several times to settle the front suspension.

  8. Tighten the front lower control rear link bolt (1) to 60 N.m (44 lb ft) + 120 degrees.
