Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the fuel injection pump. Refer to Fuel Injection Pump Replacement .
  2. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
  3. Remove the generator. Refer to Generator Replacement (2.0L Diesel LUZ) .
  4. Remove the fuel injection pump driven sprocket. Refer to Fuel Injection Pump Driven Sprocket Replacement .
    5. Fig 1: Wiring Harness Retainer Clip And Fuel Injection Pump Bracket Bolts

  5. Remove the wiring harness retainer clip (1).
  6. Remove the 6 fuel injection pump bracket bolts (2).
  7. Lower the vehicle.

  8. Remove the fuel injection pump bracket bolt (1).
  9. Remove the fuel injection pump bracket (2).
