Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the engine sight shield. Refer to Engine Sight Shield Replacement .
  2. Place a shop towel beneath the fuel separator to absorb residual fuel.
    3. Fig 1: Fuel Injection Fuel Return Pipe, Diesel Fuel Separator And Fuel Return Pipe

  3. Remove and DISCARD the fuel injection fuel return pipe clam (3).
  4. Loosen the fuel injection fuel return pipe (2) from the diesel fuel separator (1).
  5. Disconnect the fuel return pipe (4) from the diesel fuel separator (1) and hang aside. Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service .
  6. Close the fuel return pipe (4), use the EN-6015  plug.
  7. Remove the clamp (6).
  8. Loosen the fuel feed hose (5) and hang aside.
  9. Close the fuel feed hose (5), use the EN-6015  plug.

  10. Remove the 2 diesel fuel separator bolts (2).
  11. Remove the diesel fuel separator (1) in top direction.
