Front Lower Control Arm Bushing Replacement

Preliminary Procedure

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
  2. Remove the wheel and tire. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation .
  3. Remove the front lower control arm. Refer to Lower Control Arm Replacement .
1 Front Lower Control Arm Bushing Nut
CAUTION:

Refer to Exterior Trim Emblem Removal Caution .

Procedure

  1. Install the front lower control arm in a suitable vise.
  2. Remove the front lower control arm nut.
  3. When installing the front control nut, finger tighten the nut.
  4. Install the front lower control arm.
  5. Tighten the front lower control arm nut.

Tighten 
150 N.m (110 lb ft).
