Circuit/System Testing

  1. Ignition ON, verify that DTC U1500, U2142, U2143 or C0460 is not set.
  2. Verify that DTC C0287 4B is not set.
  3. Verify the yaw and lateral accelerometer sensor is correctly installed.
    • If loose or incorrect installation is diagnosed, correct the installation of the component.
  4. Disconnect the harness connector at the yaw and lateral accelerometer sensor.
  5. Ignition OFF and all vehicle systems OFF. It may take up to 2 minutes for all vehicle systems to power down. Test for less than 10 Ω between the low reference terminal 1 and ground.
    • If greater than the specified range, test the low reference circuit for an open/high resistance.
  6. Ignition ON, test for greater than 11 V between the ignition circuit terminal 4 and ground.
    • If less than the specified value, test the ignition circuit for a short to ground or an open/high resistance. If the circuit tests normal, replace the electronic brake control module.
  7. If all circuits test normal, replace the yaw and lateral accelerometer sensor and verify the DTC does not reset.
    • If the DTC resets, replace the electronic brake control module.
