Installation Procedure

  1. Install the spark plug wire to the ignition coil (1).
  2. Install the spark plug wire (2) to the spark plug.
  3. Inspect the spark plug wire for proper installation:
    • Push sideways on each spark plug boot in order to inspect the seating.
    • Reinstall any loose spark plug boot.
  4. Install the engine cover. Refer to Engine Cover Replacement .
