Circuit/System Description

The ultrasonic parking assist system is designed to identify and notify the driver of an object in the vehicle's path when moving at speeds of less than 8 km/h (5 MPH). The distance and location of the object is determined by a total of 8 sensors, located in the front and rear bumpers. The parking assist system will notify the driver using an audible signal through the radio. When the system is enabled, it can be disabled by pressing the park assist switch. The system will revert to enabled at the next ignition cycle.
