Removal Procedure

  1. Drain the cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling (GE 47716) Cooling System Draining and Filling (Static Fill) .
  2. Remove the front bumper facia. Refer to Front Bumper Fascia Replacement
  3. Remove the front compartment front sight shield. Refer to Front Compartment Front Sight Shield Replacement
  4. Remove the primary latch bracket. Refer to Hood Primary Latch Bracket Replacement
  5. Remove the cooling fan and shroud. Refer to Cooling Fan and Shroud Replacement 
  6. Remove the radiator air upper seal. Refer to Radiator Air Upper Seal Replacement 
  7. Remove the radiator air lower seal. Refer to Radiator Air Lower Seal Replacement 
  8. Remove the radiator air side seal. Refer to Radiator Air Seal Replacement 
  9. Remove the radiator air side baffels. Refer to Radiator Air Side Baffle Replacement - Left Side , and Radiator Air Side Baffle Replacement - Right Side 
  10. Remove the air conditioning condenser. Refer to Air Conditioning Condenser Replacement
  11. Remove the radiator inlet hose. Refer to Radiator Inlet Hose Replacement (LFX) 
  12. Remove the radiator outlet hose. Refer to Radiator Outlet Hose Replacement (LFX)

  14. Remove the radiator upper support bracket bolts (1).
  15. Remove the radiator upper support brackets (2).

  17. Remove the radiator (1) from the vehicle.
