Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the instrument panel lower reinforcement bracket. Refer to Instrument Panel Lower Reinforcement Bracket Replacement .
  2. Fig 1: Intermediate Steering Shaft

  3. Remove the intermediate steering shaft (1). Refer to Intermediate Steering Shaft Replacement .
  4. Disconnect the brake pedal position sensor electrical connector.

  6. Remove the brake pedal position sensor bracket bolts (1).
  7. Remove the brake pedal position sensor and bracket assembly.

  9. Remove the brake pedal position sensor bolt (1).
  10. Remove the brake pedal position sensor (2) from the bracket.
