Starter Replacement

Callout	Component Name
Preliminary Procedures Disconnect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection . Raise the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle . Disconnect the starter connector.
1	Starter Solenoid B (+) Nut CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . Procedure Remove the starter solenoid B (+) nut. Tighten 11 (8 lb in)
2	Starter Retaining Bolt (Qty: 2) Procedure Remove the starter retaining bolts. Tighten 22 (16 lb ft)
3	Starter Procedure Transfer parts as necessary.
