Circuit/System Verification

Ignition ON.
Verify the scan tool Steering Wheel Angle parameter value constantly changes from +550 to -550° as the steering wheel is turned through its entire range from left to right.
- If the parameter does not change
  Calibrate the K43 Power Steering Control Module.
- If the parameter changes
Verify that DTC C0710 4B is not set.
- If DTC C0710 4B is set
  Perform the Steering Angle Sensor Centering .
- If DTC C0710 4B is not set
Verify that DTC C0460 is not set.
- If DTC C0460 is set
  Refer to DTC C0460 .
- If DTC C0460 is not set
Replace the K34 Power Steering Control Module.
