Installation Procedure

  1. Install the trailer brake power control module (1) to the bracket.

    CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  3. Install the trailer brake power control module nuts (1) and tighten to 9 (80 lb in).

  5. Install the chassis control and trailer brake power control module bracket assembly to the frame.
  6. Slide the chassis control and trailer brake power control module bracket assembly fully into the slotted holes of the vehicle frame.
  7. Tighten the chassis control and trailer brake power control module bracket bolts (1) to 9 (80 lb in).
  8. Connect the chassis control and trailer brake power control module electrical connectors.
  9. Raise and secure the spare tire and wheel assembly.
  10. If installing a new trailer brake power control module, program the module. Control Module References
