Installation Procedure

  1. Clean all parts in clean, denatured alcohol.
  2. Dry with low pressure, non-lubricated, filtered air.
  3. Inspect the brake caliper bracket for cracks. If cracked, replace bracket.
  4. Lubricate the brake caliper pin bolt sleeves with high temperature silicone lubricant.
  5. Install the brake caliper bracket. Refer to Rear Brake Caliper Bracket Replacement .
    6. Fig 1: View Of Brake Pads, Brake Pad Retainers, & Caliper Bracket

  6. Install the brake pad retainers (1) to the bracket caliper bracket (3).
  7. Install the brake pads (2) to the bracket caliper bracket (3).
  8. Install the brake caliper to the brake caliper bracket. Refer to Rear Brake Caliper Replacement .
