Circuit/System Testing

  1. Verify that DTC C0277, C0297, B3445 or B3884 is not set.
  2. Ignition ON, observe the scan tool EBCM, BPP Signal parameter. The parameter should be Released when the brake pedal is not applied, and change to Applied when the brake pedal is applied.
    • If not within the specified value, perform the scan tool BCM, BPP Sensor Calibration procedure. Refer to Brake Pedal Position Sensor Calibration . If the DTC resets, replace the brake pedal position sensor.
  3. Replace the brake pressure modulator valve assembly and verify the DTC does not reset. If the DTC resets, replace the EBCM.
