Installation Procedure

  1. Squeeze the battery positive and negative cable branches together.
  2. IMPORTANT:

    Ensure the battery current sensor is installed in the correct direction and location on the battery positive and negative cable.

  3. Slide the NEW battery current sensor (1) up onto the battery positive and negative cable to the location previously marked during removal.
  4. Wrap electrical tape around the battery current sensor leg in order to secure the sensor to battery positive and negative cable.
  5. Install the battery positive/negative cable clips to the locations previously marked during removal.
  6. Install the battery positive and negative cable. Refer to Battery Positive and Negative Cable Replacement (LFW) , Battery Positive and Negative Cable Replacement (LEA) .
