WARNING: Refer to Glass and Sheet Metal Handling Warning . Preliminary Procedure Remove the front side door trim panel. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Replacement .
1	Outside Rearview Mirror Nuts (Qty: 3) CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . Procedure Remove the water deflector cover at the top of the door panel to expose the nuts. Disconnect the electrical connector. Tighten 10 N.m (89 lb in)
2	Outside Rearview Mirror Front Lower Base Retainer Procedure When pulling the mirror assembly off the vehicle it Must be pulled straight forward to prevent the retainer from falling in the door. NOTE: If the retainer stay in the door when removing the mirror, remove and reinstall to the mirror base.
3	Outside Rearview Mirror TIP: Inspect the outside rearview mirror for proper operation before installing the door trim.
