Tire Pressure Indicator Sensor Replacement

Preliminary Procedures

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
  2. Remove the tire and wheel assembly. Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation .
  3. Dismount the tire from the wheel. Tire Dismounting and Mounting .
1 Tire Pressure Indicator Sensor Bolt
CAUTION:

Refer to Fastener Caution .

Procedures

  1. After removing the tire pressure indicator sensor bolt. Use a valve stem tool to remove and install the rubber valve stem.
  2. Perform the Tire Pressure Sensor Learn Procedure. Tire Pressure Indicator Sensor Learn 
NOTE:

The words "This side up" are embossed on the sensor body to help with orientation.


Tighten 
1.4 N.m (12 lb in)
