Front Floor Console Replacement

Preliminary Procedure Remove the front floor console right and left extensions. Refer to Front Floor Console Extension Replacement . Remove the right and left front floor console cover trim plate assemblies. Refer to Front Floor Console Cover Trim Plate Replacement - Right Side and Front Floor Console Cover Trim Plate Replacement - Left Side . Remove the left and right instrument panel lower trim panels. Refer to Instrument Panel Lower Trim Panel Replacement - Left Side and Instrument Panel Lower Trim Panel Replacement - Right Side . Disconnect the automatic transmission control cable. Refer to Range Selector Lever Cable Replacement .
1	Front Floor Console Fastener Covers (Qty: 4) Procedure: Use a flat bladed plastic trim tool in order to remove the fastener covers from the console assembly.
2	Front Floor Console Rear Fasteners (Qty: 4) CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . Tighten: 6 N.m (53 lb in)
3	Front Floor Console Front Fasteners (Qty: 8) Tighten: 9.5 N.m (7 lb ft)
4	Front Floor Console Assembly Procedure Disconnect the electrical connections. When replacing the front floor console assembly, transfer all necessary components.
