Circuit/System Verification
- Ignition ON.
- Verify DTC P0627, P0628, P0629, P069E or U0109 is not set.
- If any of the DTCs are set
Refer to Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) List - Vehicle .
- If none of the DTCs are set
- If any of the DTCs are set
- Engine running.
- Verify the scan tool Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor parameter is between 0.25-4.75 V.
- If not between 0.25-4.75 V
Refer to Circuit/System Testing below.
- If between 0.25-4.75 V
- If not between 0.25-4.75 V
- Verify the scan tool Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor increases or decreases when commanding an increase and decrease in Fuel Rail Pressure with a scan tool.
- If the parameter does not change
Refer to Circuit/System Testing below.
- If the parameter changes
- If the parameter does not change
- Operate the vehicle within the Conditions for Running the DTC. You may also operate the vehicle within the conditions that you observed from the Freeze Frame/Failure Records data.
- Verify the DTC does not set.
- If the DTC sets
Refer to Circuit/System Testing below.
- If the DTC does not set
- If the DTC sets
- All OK.
