Removal Procedure

    NOTE:

    Graphic shows exhaust camshaft position sensor. Use same procedure for Intake camshaft position sensor.

  1. Disconnect the camshaft position sensor wiring harness plug (1).
    2. Fig 2: Camshaft Position Sensor

    NOTE:

    Graphic shows exhaust camshaft position sensor. Use same procedure for Intake camshaft position sensor.

  2. Remove the camshaft position sensor bolt (3).
  3. Remove the camshaft position sensor (2) and the seal ring (1).
