Wheel Alignment - Steering Wheel Angle and/or Front Toe Adjustment

  1. Ensure that the steering wheel is set in a straight ahead position.
  2. Loosen the tie rod jam nut (1).
  3. Adjust the toe to specification by turning the inner tie rod (2). Refer to Wheel Alignment Specifications (South America) , Wheel Alignment Specifications (except South America) .
  4. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  5. Tighten the tie rod jam nut (1) to 60 N.m (44 lb ft).
