Installation Procedure

  1. Install the generator (1).
    2. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution.

  2. Install the 2 generator bolts (2) and tighten to 35 N.m (26 lb ft).

  3. Install the 2 generator wiring harness (2, 3) to the generator (1).
  4. Install the generator wiring harness nut (4) and tighten to 20 N.m (15 lb ft).
  5. Install the generator and air conditioning compressor belt. Refer to DRIVE BELT REPLACEMENT.
  6. Connect the battery negative cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (without Start/Stop System) .
  7. Install the right tire and wheel assembly. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation
  8. Close the hood.
