Install the alternator bracket (3) to the engine block.

CAUTION:

Refer to Fastener Caution .

Install the alternator bracket to engine block mounting bolts (1, 2). Tighten the bolts in the sequence shown in the graphic. Tighten the bolt (1) to 58 N.m (43 lb ft) and the bolts (2) to 58 N.m (43 lb ft).
Install the alternator. Refer to Generator Replacement (L77) , Generator Replacement (LFX) .
