Installation Procedure

    NOTE:
    • The dust filter (3) must remain correctly seated inside the front suspension strut shield (2).
    • The bottom of the dust boot and filter assembly (3) must be positioned so that the lower lip of the front suspension strut shield (2) completely passes over the strut body retaining ring.
  1. Install the front suspension strut shield (2) over the front suspension strut (4).

  2. Install the NEW front suspension strut shield strap (4) securing the front suspension strut shield (2) to the front suspension strut (3).
  3. Install the front suspension strut bumper (1).
  4. Install the front spring, support front suspension strut bearing and the mount. Refer to Strut, Strut Component, or Spring Replacement .
  5. Install the front suspension strut. Refer to Strut Assembly Removal and Installation .
  6. Install the front wheel. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation .
  7. Remove the safety stands.
  8. Lower the vehicle to the ground.
