Removal Procedure

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
  2. Remove the knock sensor (KS) electrical connector (1) from the KS (2).

  4. Remove the KS to engine block retaining bolt (1) from the KS.
  5. Remove the KS (2) from the engine.
