Removal Procedure

WARNING:

Refer to Safety Glasses Warning .

  1. Ignition OFF.
    2. Fig 1: Air Cleaner Assembly Clamp

  2. Detach the positive crankcase ventilation (PCV) hose (2) from the air cleaner outlet duct (4). Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service .
  3. Remove the air cleaner outlet duct to throttle body retaining clamp (1).
  4. Remove the air cleaner outlet duct to air cleaner assembly clamp (3).
  5. Remove the air cleaner outlet duct (4) from the vehicle.
