Removal Procedure

  1. Ignition OFF.
  2. Fig 1: Air Cleaner Outlet Duct Retaining Clamp

  3. Remove the air cleaner outlet duct retaining clamp (7).
  4. Disconnect the mass air flow (MAF) sensor harness connector (1) from the MAF sensor (8).
  5. Disconnect the throttle intake absolute pressure (TIAP) sensor harness connector (5) from the TIAP sensor (6).
  6. Detach all the air cleaner lower housing retaining clips (3) from the air cleaner upper housing (2).
  7. Remove the air cleaner upper housing (2) from the air cleaner assembly.

  9. Remove the air cleaner element (1) from the air cleaner assembly.
