Removal Procedure
- Push the mirror glass inward at the bottom outer corner (1) until full travel is reached.
- Apply several layers of masking tape (2) to the top inner corner of the outside rearview mirror housing in order to protect from scratches.
- Insert a suitable tool (2) into the removal window (1) located behind the mirror glass.
- Twist the tool to release the mirror glass from the actuator assembly.
- If fitted, disconnect the wiring harness connectors (1) of the mirror glass heater.
