Preliminary Procedure Disconnect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection . Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .

2	Battery Positive Fastener CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . Tighten 13 N.m (115 lb in)
3	Battery Positive Cable
4	Starter Mounting Fasteners (Qty: 2) Tighten 58 N.m (43 lb ft)
5	Starter
