Installation Procedure

    Fig 1: Identifying CMP Sensor To Engine Front Cover Retaining Bolt

  1. Install the CMP sensor (2) to the engine.
    2. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  2. Install the CMP sensor to engine front cover retaining bolt (1) and tighten to 10 Y (89 lb in).

  3. Install the CMP sensor electrical connector (1) to the CMP sensor (2).
  4. Install the water outlet housing.
  5. Install the intake manifold. Refer to Intake Manifold Replacement .
  6. Install the intake manifold sight shield.
  7. Connect the battery negative cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection .
