Outside Rearview Mirror Applique Procedure:  Release the outside rearview mirror applique do the following: It is not necessary to remove the outside rearview mirror. Insert a plastic tool at the inner edge of the outside rearview mirror applique. Push inward, turn counter clockwise releasing the retainer from the door frame. Tip:  It may be necessary to remove the old retainer from the door frame.
