Preliminary Procedures
- Remove the instrument panel upper trim pad. Refer to Instrument Panel Trim Pad Replacement (Traverse) , Instrument Panel Trim Pad Replacement (Acadia w/RPO UV6) , Instrument Panel Trim Pad Replacement (Acadia w/o RPO UV6) , Instrument Panel Trim Pad Replacement (Enclave) .
- Remove the front floor console. Refer to Front Floor Console Replacement (Enclave) , Front Floor Console Replacement (Acadia) , Front Floor Console Replacement (Traverse) .
- Remove the steering column assembly. Refer to Steering Column Replacement

- Remove the instrument cluster assembly. Refer to Instrument Cluster Replacement (Traverse)

, Instrument Cluster Replacement (Acadia)

Instrument Panel Lower Trim Panel Procedure
- Prior to removing the lower trim panel from the carrier assembly, note the routing of the wiring harness to ensure proper reinstallation.
- Disconnect all electrical connections.
- With the aid of an assistant, remove the trim panel from the vehicle.
- When replacing the instrument panel lower trim panel, transfer all necessary components.
