Removal Procedure

  1. After the headliner has been lower/removed, do the following to slide the sunroof window rearward:
    1. Remove the sunroof motor cover, on the opposite side of the motor cover is the drive gear.
    2. Insert a suitable tool into the screw head of the gear.
    3. Using the suitable tool, manually turn the sunroof motor in a counterclockwise direction until the window is in the full open position and rearward.
    4. Install the new sunroof motor and refer to the Sunroof Motor/Actuator Initialization/Teach Process. Refer to Sunroof Window Motor Replacement , and Sunroof Motor/Actuator Initialization/Teach Process .
