Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the starter. Refer to Starter Replacement (LY7) or Starter Replacement (LE5/LE9) .
  2. Disconnect the engine wiring harness electrical connector (1) from the crankshaft position (CKP) sensor.

  3. Remove the CKP sensor bolt.
  4. Remove the CKP sensor.
