Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the intake manifold cover. Refer to Intake Manifold Cover Replacement .
  2. Disconnect the positive crankcase ventilation (PCV) tube from the air inlet duct. Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service .
  3. Loosen the air cleaner outlet duct clamp at the throttle body.
  4. Remove the air cleaner outlet duct from the throttle body.
  5. Loosen the air cleaner outlet duct clamp at the mass air flow (MAF)/intake air temperature (IAT) sensor.
  6. Remove the air cleaner outlet duct from the MAF/IAT sensor.
