Installation Procedure

  1. Install the lower steering column trim cover.
    2. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

    NOTE:

    Tighten the lower steering column trim cover screws in the mandatory torque sequence shown.

  2. Install the lower steering column trim cover screws.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the screws to 2 N.m (18 lb in).

  3. Install the upper steering column trim cover.
  4. Push on the upper steering column trim cover until it snaps into place and is secure.
