Removal Procedure

    WARNING:

    Refer to Battery Disconnect Warning .

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection .
  2. Raise the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
  3. Remove the mid ship tank cover. Refer to Compressed Natural Gas Tank Cover Replacement - Midship Tank 
  4. Fig 1: FCM Electrical Connectors

  5. Remove the 3 electrical connectors from the FCM.
  6. Remove the 2 FGCM mounting bracket bolts and 2 nuts.
  7. Pull the FGCM out from behind the bracket while pulling the connectors through the bracket.
