Installation Procedure

    CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  1. Install the fuel feed pipe (3).
  2. Compress the spring clamps (2) and connect the hoses.
  3. Install the fasteners (1) and tighten to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).

  4. Install the fuel line bracket fastener and tighten to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).
  5. Connect the fuel feed and return pipes.
  6. Install the intake manifold tube. Refer to Intake Manifold Tube Replacement .
  7. Install the charge air cooler inlet pipe. Refer to Charge Air Cooler Inlet Pipe Replacement .
  8. Prime the fuel system. Refer to Fuel System Priming .
  9. Start the engine.

    If the engine does not start, repeat the above step.

  10. Inspect the fuel system for fuel leaks.
  11. Install the engine cover. Refer to Engine Cover Replacement .
